They removed the ads with this update and it is once again my go to calculator. Thank you for the update!!

There was a problem but now it works great and I am very very happy with the software. It is best for my purposes.

Works GREAT for what I need it to do for me. Just a classical old calculator, but with a memory function which I tend to like. It seems that all of the other calculators I’ve downloaded and tried despite having memory functions never worked as easy as this one here.

This is a great calculator app for the Mac OS X toolbar - highly recommend it

Easy to use, this app even has a tape to record your input. You can also copy the tape. Not bad for a free app.

When the tape mode is enabled there is an operation selection for “copy” “clear” which covers the values you have on the tape. You should be able to more or disable this functionn. The straight forward “command C” for copy and “command V” for paste and a clear function which likkely is already a keyboard short ut should suffice. Deep six ths function called “copy” “clear”. That is my suggestion other than that quite handy little devil and a drop down to boot. With exception of “copy” “clear” on the take functions if is a boon to my check book….that is why I would like a “copy” “clear” that does not obscure (cover) the value on on the tape. Wh;y have a tape you are unable to see??????? :>)

Guys, I know this caluculator app has 5 stars but DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT. My Macbook Pro began running extremely hot for a couple weeks and I could not figure out what was causing it until i decided to look at the “processes” of my Macbook Pro and I noticed the CPU usage was out of this world high. I could go further into detail but only advanced users will understand this. Basicaly this Calulator App runs Ads in the Background which was causing my Macbook Pro to go into a consant downward Spiral. This is not only unethical of a App designer but against Apples protocol. Most of you basic users will never even know why your Macbooks or iMacs are running Hot and its going to end up being because of this stupid little Calculator App. Trust Me and STAY AWAY!

i’ve tried several different calculator apps and have started using this one exclusively. very easy to use. the keys and font are the perfect size for older eyes, no squinting to see the numbers . works gret and i love the features . especially like the ability to cut and paste my calculations to other applications. Great app.

It is not so complicated that one would need a degree to use. Very easy to use.

This does exactly what I needed it to do. Be simple, easy accessible, and reliable for quick calculations.

Love that it’s on the tool bar, that it stays in place between windows, and you can hook it in place or move it around. I was looking for a calculator like this because the one that comes with the laptop is pretty lame.

I don’t use a calculator for anything complicated, just MPGallon calculations and counting money and checks. Works, great for that. I like that I don’t have to leave the desktop to use it, and that it keeps my figures when I put it away.

Nice app when it works. Like the post below, in the last 3-4 days the app has been quitting unexpectedly for no apparent reason. The developer appears to be absent, so it’s not clear if this will ever be fixed. Tossing this and moving on to something else…..

This has been my go-to calculator for a long time, but starting March 10 it keeps crashing within on minute of launch. I’ve contacted the developer but no reply.

This was my main calculator for the longest time and then I decided i’d pay for the ad-free version. Of course, about two weeks later, it started crashing immediately. So now I have to go back to using the Apple calculator, and I wasted $2.99. :(

Lately it will not stay running. It will only run a short time before quitting. Still not working. 3-17-2016 Now will not run at all. Worse yet, the develper ignores my emails requesting assistance. Also, I paid to upgrade to Pro, but the app still says “Free."
